  • 한국건설생활환경시험연구원(원장 김경식, 이하 KCL) 건설방재사업본부 건설기술연구센터 박병선 주임연구원은 한국공학한림원에서 선정한 '2025년, 대한민국을 이끌 100대 기술과 주역'으로 선정되었습니다. KCL 박병선 주임연구원은 고려대학교 박우준 교수, 중앙대학교 최성철 교수와 함께 100대 기술 중 하나인 "자가치유 콘크리트" 기술의 개발 주역으로 수상하였습니다. '자가치유 콘크리트'는 균열 발생 시 스스로 치유하여 균열로의 유해이온 침투를 억제하고 콘크리트 구조물의 내구성능을 향상시키는 기술로, 자가치유 성능 확보를 위해 사용되는 재료로는 무기계 혼합재료(팽창제, 팽윤제, 결정촉진제), 팽창성 폴리머(SAP), 박테리아, 캡슐 등이 있습니다. 그 중 KCL에서 수행하고 있는 무기계 혼합재료 활용기술은 균열 발생 시 무기계 혼합재료의 재수화, 수산화칼슘의 탄산화 등의 메커니즘에 의한 자기치유 물질에 의해 균열을 치유합니다. 이 기술은 콘크리트 구조물의 내구성능을 크게 감소시키는 균열을 스스로 치유하는 스마트 유지보수 기술로, 사회기반 시설물의 유지관리 비용을 획기적 절감하여 SOC 사업에 소비되는 국가예산 절감 및 에너지 절감효과를 기대할 수 있습니다. 개발 기술은 신개념 콘크리트 제품 수출을 가능하게 하고 이에 따라 신시장 창출을 기대할 수 있으며, 선진국을 중심으로 첨단 건설재료 시장이 가파르게 성장하고 있어 해당 기술을 통해 2020년까지 선진국 수준의 기술경쟁력을 확보하고 해외시장 선점 및 신시장을 창출할 수 있습니다. 특히, 국내 콘크리트 재료 관련 기업은 중소기업이 대부분으로서 헤딩 기술의 국내 파급 및 국내 기업의 해외 진출 시, 창조형 해외 신시장 창출에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단됩니다. 앞으로도 KCL은 우리나라 산업 발전 및 글로벌 시장에서의 경쟁력 강화를 위해 노력하겠습니다.
